Tim Burdett is the founder and owner of Nostalgia Productions. He has more than 30 years of experience in graphic & visual design and print, working for advertising agencies and design companies before starting his own design and print business in 2005.

One of Tim’s passions over the last few years has been creating video content for his customers. During lockdown, after attending a couple of funerals where only a small number of people were allowed to be present, he decided that creating a ‘memory video’ would be a lovely way to celebrate the life of someone who had passed. A true ‘celebration of life’, created by using some of the lovely photos and video clips, that we all tend to have of our loved ones, but often get placed in an old shoebox, to be looked at again ‘one day’. Creating a video that uses some of those lovely old images is such a great way, not only preserves some of those wonderful memories but also records names and dates which help trigger more memories and reminiscences. We hope that our videos will be passed on to future generations so they can connect to those that they may never have even met and relive whole stories that would otherwise be forgotten.

Nostalgia Productions is really about celebrating the good times in life and holding onto them for many years to come. So we also make amazing videos for every type of celebratory occasion, milestone birthdays, special anniversaries and of course weddings. While many people have a video made of their actual wedding day, we also specialise in creating ‘Romance Journey’ videos capturing the story of the Bride and Groom in their early years, before they met and then documenting the unfolding romance. This is a magical presentation that adds to the enjoyment of the occasion especially when it is shown during the reception and given as a gift to guests and those not able to attend the wedding itself.

When it comes to creating videos for those living with Dementia, they too are for the family and friends of that person, but the reassurance and comfort that they can give to someone who is struggling with their short-term memory can be huge. Reminiscence Therapy can evoke memories, stimulate mental activity and improve well-being. What better gift can you give to someone living with Dementia than bringing their memories to life. It really is something that makes a huge difference to that person’s life, at such a difficult time.

Our videos are presented in attractive keepsake folders which make a unique and heart warming gift to be enjoyed, shared and cherished by loved ones anywhere around the world.
